Kajukenbo (Japanese: カジュケンボ) is a hybrid martial art from Hawaii. It was developed in the late 1940s and founded in 1947 in the Palama Settlement on Oahu, Territory of Hawaii.
Kajukenbo combines elements of Karate, judo, jui-jutsu, judo, Kenpo and Chinese Boxing
(Specifically: Kara-Ho Kenpo, Danzan-ryu Jujutsu, Judo, Tang Soo Do, Shotokan Karate, Boxing, Chin Na, Ng Ying Kung Fu, Arnis ) Within the creative environment of the Kajukenbo system; various practitioners have seen fit to incorporate other systems and tools as the art, and Martial Arts as a whole, has evolved to compete within combat sports.
Following in that tradition, is my contribution to the art I Love, to be displayed in an evolving form here. Combing my experience in both the traditional aspects and combat sport versions of Kajukenbo, to create techniques and Principles that will offer utility in both realms. This system is called the K-NYNE System of Martial Arts.
